Please see below a fantastic review from a local Primary Academy Headteacher:

“I have been teaching in Kent for 16 years and have always used the courses offered by Kent. These have not always been great, but over the past two years they have really improved.

Last academic year, I was fortunate enough to attend a series of training (including a conference) based around Pupil Premium children. I can honestly say that this is some of the best training that I have ever had and it has truly impacted upon my own practice.  The professional dialogue, the resources and content of the training all enabled me to improve my own practice, develop the way we used the PPG within my school and diminish the difference for our pupils.

This academic year, I have been sending my staff on courses via Kent CPD on line and they have returned to school buzzing with ideas and enthusiasm which has then been cascaded across the school. The impact of this is already visible.  I know that some schools still view the CPD offered by Kent as being under par, and do not use it. But now is the time to give the CPD on offer a new try and see how it is good value for money and the quality of the training has vastly improved.

The Service Level Agreement is a very good option for purchasing CPD, yet I don’t feel the fact that it actually saves schools money is promoted enough”

So don’t take our words for it, why not have a look for yourself...For more information on the School Improvement page on the EduKent website click here.
