DVD Training Pack - just £45 including Postage and Packaging
The Leuven Involvement Scale has proven to be a most valuable instrument to support practitioners in their endeavour to get a picture of the whole child. it stands close to practitioners, it articulates their intuitive understanding of what matters to guide children, it inspires them to make successful interventions and therefore empowers them.
This DVD and guide was developed in 2010 by The Early Years and Childcare Team, Kent County Council and The Research Centre for Experiential Education (Leuven University, Belgium) under the guidance of Prof. Dr Ferre Laevers.
It has been used successfully by many schools throughout the county and continues to prove a valuable tool for Teachers and Early Years practitioners. Whilst previous training packs from the Centre for Experiential Education were based on recordings in Flemish settings, this DVD and guide has been developed using real Early Years settings and children across Kent.
A series of 24 video clips shot in everyday learning situations across the spectrum of the Early Years Foundation Stage in a wide variety of settings.
The clips will enable users to familiarise themselves with the Leuven Involvement Scale and evaluate their own assessments.
Each clip is preceded by a countdown featuring a picture of the focus child. Users should be encouraged to watch the whole clip before making an evaluation.
